Product Development and Engineering Design is our BUSINESS
At ONETenders, innovation is born from experience and driven by a passion for the ocean.
Behind the brand is Grant Nelson, the creative force and engineering mind with over 30 years of design and product development expertise. From concept to prototype to production, Grant has a proven track record of turning ideas into high-performance realities. If something needs to be designed, tested and built to perfection — he’s your guy.
The journey began when the boating community approached Grant with a challenge: “We need a tender that’s stable, dry, versatile, and seaworthy - something with real internal volume, that can cut
through chop, carry families, fishing gear or dive tanks and work seamlessly with both traditional and electric propulsion.”
That challenge sparked the creation of the first 3.8m catamaran tender - a design that redefined what a small boat could be. In the beginning, ONETenders was built using resin infusion methods. While effective, this approach was time-consuming and didn’t allow for the scalability, precision, or
consistency required for a world-class tender range.
To push the boundaries further, Grant and the team turned to aerospace technology: pre-preg carbon fiber, cured under pressure and heat in an autoclave.
This shift marked a turning point - delivering tenders that are lighter, stronger and more precise than anything possible with traditional methods. Built with the new autoclaved, pre-preg carbon construction, it delivered the perfect balance of strength, weight and stability. Practical yet premium,
multipurpose yet uncompromising.
From that first design grew the ONETenders family: a range of monohull (M-Series) and catamaran (C-Series) carbon-fiber tenders that blend advanced composite technology with lifestyle-driven functionality. Whether serving as a dependable yacht tender, a platform for diving and fishing, or a fun family boat for water sports - every ONETender is engineered to perform.
Today, ONETenders continues to push boundaries, delivering next-generation tenders that are:
Stable & Dry
Spacious
Lightweight & Strong
Electric Ready
Purpose-Built
This is more than boatbuilding - it’s about delivering freedom on the water, engineered as ONE.
